Students must incorporate all focus requirements into this plan. Focus designations (i.e., W, E, O, H) are CRN specific and semester specific.
Minimum 45 upper division (300+ course) credits are required.
EDEF 310 and EDEP 311 taken in the EES program will be waived in PBCTE Secondary science program.
*STE 401 , STE 402N , and STE 440 double-counts for both programs. Advising for EES will be conducted by SOEST; advising for PBCTE will be conducted by COE.
The following may fulfill science elective courses: any upper division ERTH, EPET, ATMO, or OCN courses; plus GEO 370 , GEO 388 , GEO 405 ; NREM 301 , NREM 302 , NREM 477 ; PEPS 451 ; PLAN 414 ; POLS 380 ; TPSS 304 . Students not pursuing the BAP in Earth Science Education/Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Teacher Education may replace these courses with additional ERTH 300+ electives. They will need to ensure that two of their lower-division electives satisfy DS.
