NREM 302 - Natural Resource and Environmental Policy

Credits: 3

Introduction to natural resource and environmental public policy at U.S. federal, Hawaiʻi state, local, and international levels. Policy principles, legal structure, governmental agencies, statutes and programs, analytical techniques, program assessments, and contemporary ethical issues.

Prerequisites: NREM 210 /PEPS 210 /SUST 210  or NREM 251 /SOCS 251 /TPSS 251  or (BIOL 101  or higher) or GEO 101  or (ERTH 101  or higher); and NREM 220 /SUST 220  or one ECON course or two DS courses.
Grade Option: A-F only.
