Requirements

Students must complete the following to receive a minor with at least 15 credits of the following courses:

ACC 407 - Taxation of Business Entities Credits: 3
ACC 413 - Law for the Accountant Credits: 3
ACC 415 - Advanced Financial Accounting Credits: 3 (with a grading option of A-F)

at least 6 credits (with a grading option of A-F) from:

ACC 399 - Directed Reading and Research Credits: V
ACC 416 - Special Topics in Accounting Credits: V
CINE 484 - Data Visualization Credits: 3
BUS 410 - Data Analytics for Business Credits: 3
FIN 307 - Corporate Financial Management Credits: 3
FIN 450 - Enterprise Risk Management Credits: 3
FIN 490D - Advanced Topics in Finance: financial analysis Credits: 3
ECON 300 - Intermediate Macroeconomics Credits: 3
ECON 301 - Intermediate Microeconomics Credits: 3
ECON 340 - Financial Markets and Institutions Credits: 3
TPSS 429 - Spreadsheet Modeling for Business and Economic Analysis Credits: 3

Notes:

Students who have completed the minor cannot apply courses taken in their minor toward another degree (or minor) and cannot pursue the 3/2 MAcc program.
