Requirements
Recommended for prospective teachers: SPAN 330 , SPAN 400 , SPAN 403 , SPAN 451 , SPAN 452 , and LLEA 455 . Recommended for prospective graduate students: SPAN 330 , SPAN 351 , SPAN 352B or SPAN 352C , SPAN 451 , and SPAN 452 , and one 400-level literature course. At least half the credits required for the major must be taken at UH Mānoa. Native and heritage speakers should see an advisor. Recommended for all Spanish majors: study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country (summer and/or semester) Neither the core course nor the required course may be double dipped as an elective.
