MATH 251A *FQ, MATH 252A  and MATH 253A  may be substituted for MATH 241 -MATH 244 .

MATH 215 *FQ and MATH 216  may be substituted for MATH 241  and MATH 242  with approval from major advisor.

PHYS 170/L, PHYS 272/L, 274/L may be substituted for PHYS 151/L, 152/L; if so 274 also satisfies one of the Group 2 electives.
