Major Requirements for BFA in Art (Art Studio)


  • Admission: Students must submit a portfolio for review.
  • Application: Fall admission only.
  • Min. major credits: 63
  • Min. C grade (not C-) in all core courses, B grade (not B-) in all non-intro art studio courses

Art Studio


11 Art Studio courses, 33 credits (11 courses, at least 6 upper-division, i.e., 300/400 level). These will come anywhere within the following courses:

Art Studio: Interdisciplinary Studio/Professional Practice and Capstone Seminar (2 courses, 6 credits)
