Requirements


Tropical Agriculture and the Environment Concentration: Pest and Invasive Species Management Required Courses (42-45 credits; see Catalog for prerequisites)


Pest and Invasive Species Management Concentration Elective Courses

Choose at least 21 credits from the courses below with at least 4 courses from Pest and Invasive Species Emphasis list and the remaining credits from the other concentrations: Molecular Plant Biosystems; Sustainable Crop Production, Soils, & Landscape Management.

Students who complete ECON 130 - Principles of Microeconomics  or NREM 220 - Agricultural and Resource Economics  or an equivalent, BLAW 200 , TPSS 322 , TPSS 341 /NREM 341 , and TPSS 351 /NREM 351  will earn a Certificate in Agribusiness Management.

Students must take at least 21 credits of Pest and Invasive Species Elective courses (“PISM Elective”) from the list on the program requirements with at least 4 courses from the Pest and Invasive Species Emphasis list.
Students must incorporate all focus requirements into this plan. Focus designations (i.e., W, E, O, H) are CRN specific and semester specific.
