ME 331 - Materials Science and Engineering

Credits: 3

Electronic, atomic, and crystalline structure of materials and their effect on the mechanical, electrical, optical, and magnetic properties of engineering metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites.

Prerequisites: grade of C or better in all of CHEM 162 (or CHEM 171 or CHEM 181A ), MATH 242 (or MATH 252A ), and PHYS 170 .
