HWST 214 - Kūnihi Ka Mauna: Introduction to Oli

Credits: 3

(2 1-hr Lec, 1 2-hr Lab/practice) Introductory-level, performance-based Oli (Chant) exploring Kanaka Maoli identity and world view through ancestral knowledge as presented in Mele (Song, Poetry) and Moʻolelo (History and Literatures).

Prerequisites: HWST 107 , and HAW 100  or HAW 101 .
