Topics: Women’s role, status, work and treatment; ethical considerations of economic development, changing work/family roles, agriculture and business, improvement/deterioration in gender equity across the Third World global feminization of poverty. Open to nonmajors.

Prerequisites: a 100 level economics course or any women’s studies course; or consent.
