JPN 602 - Japanese Syntax and Semantics

Introduction to theories of syntax, sentence structure, parts of speech, constituency, grammatical relations and case marking, word order, passives, causatives, tense, aspect, and embeddings.

Prerequisites: JPN 451  or consent.
