HWST 456 - Kiaʻi Kanaloa-Guarding Our Ocean Resources

Credits: 4

Students will actively monitor and practice coastal and ocean stewardship in support of local communities and practitioners while also exploring how the Hawaiian worldview can plan a role in aloha ʻāina conservation movements.

Prerequisites: HWST 207 /SUST 217  or HWST 307 /SUST 317  or HWST 356 /SUST 356 .
Repeatable: 1 time
Grade Option: A-F only.
Frequency of Course (when offered): Spring only
Class Standing Restrictions: Junior standing or higher, or consent.
