HWST 396 - Native Hawaiian Rights and Practices


Credits: 3

Students will strengthen their cultural, political, and legal foundations by: (1) reviewing Hawaiʻi’s historical traditions and customs, (2) learning legal analysis techniques, and (3) applying those techniques to issues that govern native Hawaiian “rights” today. Sophomore or higher standing.

Prerequisites: HWST 107 , HWST 270 , and HWST 341  (or concurrent) and HAW 102 .
