GES 454 - Earth’s Microbiome

Credits: 3

Lecture on the diversity and function of the Earth’s microbiomes, inclusive of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, symbiotic and free living microorganisms with a focus on the microbial underpinnings of the Earth’s biogeochemistry.

Prerequisites: OCN 201  or BOT 305 /BIOL 305  or BOT 201  or BIOL 275  or MICR 351  or consent.
Repeatable: Unlimited times.
Grade Option: A-F only.
