GEO 400 - Vegetation and the Climate System

Role of vegetation in the climate system; links to hydrology and biogeochemical cycling; vegetation and climate history; evolution of terrestrial ecosystems; effects of global warming.

Prerequisites: GEO 101  or GEO 300  or GEO 401  or GEO 402  or GEO 405  or ATMO 101  or ATMO 200  or ATMO 302  or ATMO 303  or ATMO 310 , or consent.
