ENG 300B - Introduction to Rhetoric: Classical-Renaissance

Credits: 3

History of theory and practices of rhetoric from Classical to contemporary periods; e.g., Plato, Aristotle, Cicero, Quintilian, Augustine, Sidney, K. Burke, DeMan; (B) Classical-Renaissance; (C) Enlightenment- Contemporary.

Prerequisites: one ENG DL course or consent.
Repeatable: 1 time for different alphas.
Diversification Requirements: DL
