ECE 406 - Introduction to Computer and Network Security

Credits: 3

Review basic network mechanisms, introduce basic cryptography concepts, and study algorithms and protocols used in computer and network security. Discuss practical security mechanisms.

Prerequisites: ECE 361  or ICS 312  or ICS 331  or instructor consent.
Grade Option: A-F only.
Frequency of Course (when offered): Once a year
