ECON 440 - Monetary Theory and Policy

Credits: 3

Microfoundations and critical analysis of monetary and macroeconomic theory and policy. Topics include the causes and consequences of inflation, optimal monetary policy and international monetary systems, bank risk and insurance, and national debt and taxation.

Prerequisites: ECON 300  or ECON 301  or consent.
