CHEM 110 - Chemistry in a Sustainable World

Credits: 3

Introduction to chemistry for non-science majors. Discussion of the role of natural and man-made chemicals in everyday life, with an emphasis on sustainable and environmentally-sensitive use of chemicals to improve our world. Students who successfully completed CHEM 100  with a grade of C or better will not be allowed to enroll in CHEM 110/SUST 120  without instructor override. Students who successfully complete CHEM 110/SUST 120  with a grade of C or better will not be allowed to enroll in CHEM 100  without instructor override.

Grade Option: A-F only.
