BIOL 220 - Biostatistics

Credits: 4

(3 Lec, 1 3-hr Lab) Introduction to statistical approaches in biology. Students will learn how to formulate hypotheses, test them quantitatively, and present results. Students will analyze biological datasets using the computer language R.

Prerequisites: BIOL 171  or BIOL 172  or BOT 101 ; MATH 134  or higher, or MATH assessment exam.
Grade Option: A-F only.
