ASAN 323 - The Way of Tea in Japanese History and Culture

History and culture of Japan as revealed in study and practice of the tea ceremony: Zen, aesthetics, calligraphy, architecture, ceramics, gardens, politics. Includes an emphasis on Oral Communication skills.
