Academic Grievance (M5.204)

A student who takes a class at UH Mānoa and believes that a faculty member has failed to meet specific responsibilities outlined in “Responsibilities of Faculty” in the “Academic Grievance Procedures and Grade Appeal Process” may register a grievance. Students and faculty are encouraged to resolve their differences through consultation and mediation. When these efforts are ineffective, the student can talk to the department chair or dean.
